I'm a writer with several specialties.
My poem Three Weeks in a Decade or an Ode to My Living Room Floor is currently taught in University-level Canadian Literature and Poetry classes as part of the book Pandemic Poems. My recent script, Sirens of Silence, has won over 30 awards and is currently in development as both a short and feature. Previously, my short film Tapes From Tomorrow showcased at the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival. Before that, I was a top-10 nationally-ranked Slam Poet who represented the city of Montréal at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, and the top-ranked female public speaker within university debate clubs in Canada. I'm a co-author of the academic paper A Rose by Any Other Name? Developing a Method of Collaborative Poetics published in Vol.17 of the journal Qualitative Research in Psychology. I've acted as Senior Copywriter for several well-known brands. I've got a book coming out soon.
