I'm a writer with several specialties.
My poem Three Weeks in a Decade or an Ode to My Living Room Floor is currently taught in University-level Canadian Literature and Poetry classes as part of the book Pandemic Poems. Sirens of Silence, a script co-written by myself and Matt Townsend, has won over 30 awards and is currently in development as both a short and feature. Previously, my fantastic team's short film Tapes From Tomorrow showcased at the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival. Before that, I was a top-10 nationally-ranked Slam Poet who represented the city of Montréal at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, and the top-ranked female public speaker within university debate clubs in Canada. I'm a co-author of the academic paper A Rose by Any Other Name? Developing a Method of Collaborative Poetics published in Vol.17 of the journal Qualitative Research in Psychology. I've acted as Senior Copywriter for several well-known brands. I've got a book coming out soon.
